A stream will not play

Black screen, spinner, or an error, how to tell a provider problem from an app problem in under a minute.
AnyTV does not host or relay streams. It asks your provider's server for one and plays what comes back. So the first question is always who failed.
The one-minute test
- Try another channel from the same source. If everything from that source fails, it is the source.
- Try a channel from a different source. If that works, it is definitely the first provider.
- Try the same channel on another device. If it plays there, the problem is local to the first device.
- Try it off Wi-Fi, on cellular. If it works, something on your network is blocking it.
Common causes, and what they look like
Connection limit reached, plays on one device, refuses on the second. Your provider's cap on simultaneous streams. Stop the other stream.
The channel is dead, instant error, or a black screen that never resolves. Provider side; nothing in AnyTV fixes it.
The codec is not supported, audio with no video, or the reverse. Switch player engine in settings; AnyTV includes more than one for exactly this.
Blocked by the network or DNS, everything from one provider fails while other apps work fine. Some ISPs and public DNS resolvers block IPTV hostnames. Try a different network to confirm.
Expired subscription. Everything fails at once, on every device, having worked yesterday.
