Troubleshooting

Send a useful bug report

Updated 16 September 2026

What to include so the first reply is an answer rather than a question.

Most reports we cannot act on are missing the same four things. Include them and you will usually get an answer rather than a follow-up question.

Include

  1. What you did, what you expected, what happened. In that order, in one or two sentences.
  2. Device and version. "Apple TV 4K, AnyTV 6.2" or "Pixel 8, Android 15".
  3. Scope. Does it happen on every source or one? Every device or one? Every channel or one? This single line eliminates most of the possibilities.
  4. When it started, and what changed around then, an app update, a new provider, a new router.

Do not send

Your provider credentials. We never need your username, password or playlist URL, and we will ask you to change them if you send them.

The fastest route

Use Settings → Support inside the app. It attaches sanitised diagnostics, device model, app version, source health, with no credentials and no stream links in them, so we can see the state of the app without you describing it.

If you would rather write to us, use hello@anytvapp.com and include the four points above.

Feature requests

Welcome, same address. Tell us the problem you are trying to solve rather than the solution you have in mind. It is often solvable a way you would not have asked for.

Did this not solve it?

Tell us what you tried. Settings → Support in the app sends sanitised diagnostics along with your message, no credentials, no stream links.
