A playlist will not load
Updated 16 September 2026
Import errors, login failures, and the network problems that look like both.
Check the obvious first
The link, exactly as given. M3U URLs usually carry a username and password in the query string. One missing character and the server returns nothing useful. Paste it; do not retype it.
The http:// or https:// prefix, and the port if your provider uses one. myserver.tv:8080 is not the same as http://myserver.tv:8080.
Whether it works in a browser. Open the same URL on the same device. If the browser cannot fetch it, AnyTV cannot either, and now you know it is not the app.
Xtream logins
Server, username and password are three separate fields and each is case-sensitive. A trailing space copied from an email is a common and invisible cause of failure.
"Too many connections" on import
Some providers count an import against your simultaneous-connection limit. Stop playback on your other devices and try again.
Blocked by DNS or the ISP
If a playlist fails on your home network and works on cellular, something between you and the provider is blocking the hostname. Changing DNS resolver, or asking your ISP, is the route. This is outside the app.
Editor links
Links produced by playlist editors are a frequent cause of import failures and of libraries that import but match badly. See Can I use a playlist editor?.
The playlist loads but the library is empty
The import succeeded and every category is hidden, or the profile is filtered. See Missing movies, shows or episodes.
