Missing movies, shows or episodes

A tab that disappeared, a series missing half its episodes, or a film you know you have.
The Movies or TV Shows tab has disappeared
A tab is hidden when there is nothing to put in it. Usual causes, in order of likelihood:
- Every category feeding it is hidden. Check Manage Categories for that media type.
- The source only carries live channels. Many do.
- The last import failed and left the section empty. See A playlist will not load.
- The profile is configured to exclude it. Check the profile's content settings.
A series is missing episodes
AnyTV shows the episodes your source carries, plus, if you want, the ones it knows exist but your source does not have, greyed out. That setting is Show episodes not in sources, and it syncs across devices.
If an episode is missing and the setting is on, you will see it listed but unplayable. That is your provider's catalogue, not an AnyTV bug.
A film is in the playlist but not in the library
- It may be filed under a hidden category.
- It may have merged into another entry as a version. Open the film and check the version list before concluding it is absent.
- It may still be importing.
Nothing from a Plex, Jellyfin or network source
Check the server is reachable from that device, and that the library is shared with the account you signed in as. For SMB and DLNA shares, badly named files are the usual cause. See Connect Plex, Jellyfin, Emby or a network share.
