Device limits explained

10 devices per member, 30 across a Family, and why there is a wait after you disconnect one.
A plan is counted in devices per member, not in people and not in simultaneous streams.

A device is one AnyTV installation on one piece of hardware, an iPhone, an Apple TV, an Android tablet. All your Apple devices signed in to the same Apple ID still count individually here, because each is a separate installation.
The cooldown
When you disconnect a device, its slot is held for 7 days before it can be reused.
This exists for one reason: without it, the limit is not a limit. Anyone could disconnect and reconnect endlessly and run an unlimited number of devices through three slots. The wait makes the limit real while still letting you replace a phone you actually replaced.
Family slots are counted per member, so one member cannot use up another member's room to manoeuvre.
How many streams can play at once
That is a separate question, and the answer is not ours. AnyTV does not cap simultaneous playback. Your IPTV provider almost certainly does; that is the "connection limit" in your subscription.
