Sign in with an email code

AnyTV accounts have no password, because a password is a thing to lose, reuse and phish. Signing in works like this:

1. Enter your email address.
2. We send a six-digit code to it.
3. Type the code. It is valid for 5 minutes.

That is the whole flow, in the app and at https://me.anytvapp.com.

After the first time

Add a passkey and you can sign in with Face ID, Touch ID, Windows Hello or your device's own unlock, no email round trip. See Passkeys and account security.

If the code does not arrive

• Check spam and promotions.
• Make sure the address has no typo in it, the code goes where you sent it.
• Ask for a new code rather than reusing an old one; codes are single-use.

Signing in with Google or Apple

That was retired. Email codes and passkeys are the only ways in now, along with device pairing codes for TVs. If an old build still shows Google or Apple buttons, update the app. They will not work.

Which email is the right one

Your plan and library belong to the account you first used. If you sign in with a different address you get a new, empty account, not your old one with a new label. If a device suddenly looks empty, sign out and sign in with the address you used before.
