Multiview, picture-in-picture and casting

Four channels at once, a floating player, and sending playback to another screen.
Multiview
Live channels side by side, with audio from whichever one you choose. Useful on a Sunday afternoon; useful for news; useful whenever "what else is happening" matters as much as what you are watching.
How many tiles you get depends on the hardware: four on capable devices such as Apple TV 4K, and two on lower-powered ones, where a third would cost you smooth playback on all of them. AnyTV picks the ceiling for the device rather than offering a layout it cannot hold.
Multiview is a Pro feature.
Mini player and picture-in-picture
Shrink playback to a floating window and carry on browsing the library, or leave the app with picture-in-picture and keep watching over whatever you do next. Background audio keeps the sound going when the screen is off.
AirPlay and Chromecast
Send playback to an Apple TV, an AirPlay speaker or display, or a Chromecast target. The receiving device does the playing; your phone becomes the remote.
If casting will not connect
Both devices need to be on the same network, and on many home routers, on the same band and without client isolation switched on. If AirPlay works from other apps but not from AnyTV, the stream itself may not be one the receiver can decode; try a different quality.
