The biggest release yet, and the one that made the library feel instant
A library that loads like it is already there
The largest release in AnyTV's history, and most of it went somewhere you cannot point at: episode merging, metadata overlays and playlist viability checks moved off the main thread, the guide gained segmented caching with priority merging, and enrichment learned to settle around what you are doing instead of competing with it.
Genres that mean something
A curated genre crosswalk replaced the provider's own labels, so Drama means Drama whichever source it came from, with the poster chosen from your own library rather than a stock image.
Restoring a device
A native restoration flow for a fresh install: sign in, and the library comes back rather than being rebuilt from scratch.
Subtitles and the guide
Better subtitle probing and synchronisation for on-demand content, and channels you watch recently refresh their guide data by themselves.
